R & L Roaches makes custom made Porcupine Hair Roaches and Turkey Beard Roaches made by Ryan and Linda Bajan. We began a few years ago with a pile of porky hair and fly tying supply deer tails. Over the years, we have developed a deep appreciation and respect for the tradition of roach headdress craft and have studied the subject in depth. Recent Roach: This 20" custom porky roach features an 8" tall crown, 3 rows of porky hair in the crown, and a 100% wool hand braided/hand sewn base. The custom design was created just for this customer to match his Grass Dance outfit.
